Please use the new blog!
This blog is going out of date, and is not used much at all anymore! We welcome you to go to the new blog at www.agroome.com/blog/. This will contain all of the new content, and will be up to the minute. This also allows me to easily send an e-mail to make a post. So I can post from just about anywhere that has internet access.
Also, please go to the Agroome.com homepage for news on the front page. Although the blog is the main place to go for news, we still post things on the front page.
Please take advantage of all the new things we have to offer. Stop by at the forums some time and read though some topics. While your at it, why not stop by the tutorials page and view some of the Vista video tutorials. In the near future we will also be offering new text tutorials for various things. They will be based around programming, scripting, image design, usage of software, using of operating systems, and much, much more.

We Welcome You To Join Us
Hello! We would like to welcome you to create and account for the forums at Forums.Agroome.com. We have many categories and sub categories. Also, please go to Blog.Agroome.com because this site will slowly stop getting updates until we can work something out so we don't have to post different things. Our new blog makes it much easier to interact with you, too. As time goes on this blog will die out, and the one on the new website will completely take over. This is going to be a big change, but it is for the better of the game. At our new web host we have a lot more space for a lot more things, and have plenty of data storage.

Working With New Software
It takes a lot of time and dedication to create games, and without the proper software games would be very hard to create, and would take a lot of time. We at Agroome choose to use Microsoft XNA as out game tool, and Softimage|XSI to create our 3D models. With these two powerful tools the games we can create have no limits accept the computer they are running on. XNA allows us to creates games that network so we can allow multiplayer; but what is a multiplayer games without it being 3D? That is where XSI comes in. XSI allows us to create the 3D models of the trees, people, monsters, and all the other objects we choose to put in our games. Without this software, our games would take tons of time to make.
We also have new plans for the future. I, the head of the programming department, am learning a ton about XNA, the C# programming language, and XSI. With this knowledge I can take the ideas that idea development were working for hours on and put them into a fully playable game. Though this is a very hard task, we really enjoy doing it. Creating games is what we love to do, and when my knowledge grow more, we can finally start putting out better games that will be very nice to play. Our main goal is to create many 3D games that will keep our players busy for hours at a time. But, 2D games can be just as fun. We will not stop developing 2D games even after we are skilled 3D game designers.
Another thing we like to offer is for everyone to be able to try Beta versions of the games we design for free. We will only release games in Beta form to the public after our specially picked Alpha testing team is done finding all the large bugs. Why we want to offer them for free is to give everyone a taste of our games to see if it will be worth buying the final version. We also want to offer free Beta versions to have a much bigger team to work out bugs. How it works is you get free games, and we get to find all the bugs in our programs for free. In the end, we all win. And for an even better benefit we will even pick the most active Beta testers to get a free version of the final release of large scale games.
Thank you for reading this post, and I hope this gave you a little more information about what will be happening, and what is currently happening. We look forward to getting more games out as soon as we can.

New Author
The New Auther
As you might notice, we have the head of Idea Development posting in this blog now. We have brought him in because he will know some information before I do, which will mean you will know it before I do!
You may also notice a different style going on in this blog post, because I am using HTML to write this. It is a little harder to do, but gives me a lot more control over what is going on, and it will let me do a lot more with a post. It will be easier to add and move images, add check boxes and more.
Well, that is about it for this post. We will try to keep you as up to date as possible. We are also working on a new game. Details to come soon.
Idea Development
Hi, my name is Landon and I am the co-owner of this blog. I am the head of Idea Development. I plan on making the game as awesome as possible by thinking of any idea that Erick and I can agree on that would make Agroome better.
Heres a game that I picked out!!!

A Game To Keep You Busy
Here is a game we found on the internet to keep you busy while we continue to work on developing new games. We are working every day to think of new ideas, and to develop new games. The downside is it takes awhile, and we want you to be able to spend your time doing somthing else while we are working. Here is a fun game that will keep you busy while we work. It is provided by Miniclip at www.miniclip.com.
Here you go.

New Game - Falling Blocks
Over the past week, Agroome has been working on a 2D block dodging game. In the game you play a stick man, and you have all the triangles falling down onto your head and you need to avoid them. At this point, if you get hit the screen will turn red but you will not loose the game. Audio has been added which only plays for one minute, but we will be working on getting it to loop over. In the next few days out beta testers will be taking over with testing so we can work harder on completing the game.
*Beta versions should be up for download in a month or two.
**You need to have Microsoft Windows XP or Vista (all versions).
Update April 21, 2008: Servers are back online! Download the file here. Remember, this is only a BETA!
Update April 19, 2008: A beta of the game is all packages up and ready, but when I try to upload it, I find the servers are down. I have no idea when they will be back up either. I will try to upload the game as soon as I can.
Update April 11, 2008: Version 0.2.15.0 is almost ready to come out. When that is done, screen shots will be posted here, and you can see them!
